  • Send booking confirmations, event updates, entry instructions, and important safety information.
  • Manage event entry, capacity, security, and customer support.
  • Process payments, refunds, and billing enquiries.
  • Run presales: confirm your email address, hold your place to buy during the pre-order holder window, and tell you when tickets are released.
  • Send marketing emails and SMS messages, event announcements, ticket releases, and offers where you have opted in.
  • Consider talent submissions for bookings at our events.
  • Improve our website, advertising, customer experience, and event operations.
  • Detect fraud, prevent duplicate bookings, and protect our business and customers.

4. Legal bases for processing

We process personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to fulfil your booking, ticket purchase, guest-list registration, or customer enquiry.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate and promote our events, improve our services, prevent fraud, and protect the safety of attendees and staff.
  • Consent: to send marketing communications, use non-essential cookies, or use your image in promotional media where consent is required.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, licensing, safeguarding, and law-enforcement requirements.
  • Vital interests: where necessary to protect someone’s life or physical safety.

5. Marketing communications

We will only send you marketing emails or messages if you have:

  • Signed up to our mailing list;
  • Joined a presale, which requires subscribing to our email newsletter and SMS updates (see our Pre-order Policy);
  • Purchased a ticket or made a booking and have not opted out, where permitted by law; or
  • Otherwise given clear consent.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP to any SMS, or contacting info@soundclashevents.com.

When you join a presale we send a confirmation email first, and we only add you to our mailing lists once you have confirmed your email address. This stops anyone signing up someone else.

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send essential transactional messages about your booking, event changes, safety information, or customer-service enquiries.
